  Killed in Action at Konniggratz Peter studied agriculture in Bonn-Poppelsdorf and in 1864 he inherited the manor Dussel from his grandfather Joh. Peter Bredt (see the specific chapter). At theoutbreak of war in 1866 he was conscripted into the Heohenzollern Fusilier Regiment no. 40, was killed on 3 July 1866 by shellfire in the battle at Konniggratz and was buried in the cemetary at Problusz with two comrades.
