• Notes

  Ludwig Baehr studied theolgy and became parson in Diersburg in the Black Forest. During the campaign 1870/71 he was called to Berlin to act in place of the garrison chaplain Emil Frommel and then went over to military service. As Divisional Chaplain, later Military Head Chaplain and Councillor in the Consistory he lived with his family in Saarlouis, Celle, Hanover, Magdeburg and Breslau. In 1896 he retired to Welgeleben (province Sachsen).
