  Dr Med Borsdorf He visited the gymnasium at Elberfeld from Porten and passed the examination for his Abitur in 1887. Then he studied medicine, first in Tubingen where he did his first semester, then in Wurzburg and Kiel. After passing the State Examination and his promotion to his doctors degree in medicine he fiirst participated in special courses in Berlin and served a second semester in Hannover and subsequently his internship. In 1893 he started his practice in Ebergotzen by Gottingen, moved to Struth near Adenroth in 1896 and in 1898 to Brosdorf by Leipzig, where he was active for 33 years. He retired in 1931 and took up residence inSt. Gallen, since 1940 inBlankenburg on the Harz.
