  Kunstmaher Dusseldorf Peter became an artist and studied in Dusseldorf and Karlsruhe under Professor Schonleber and lived in Dusseldorf at the time where he was the chairman of the Association of Dusseldorf Artists at times. For his picture "Birches in March" he received an accolade in Barcelona. Owners of his paintings are: the Hall of Fame in Barmen, the museum in Monchengladbach and the city of Gladbeck. He served in the Hussar Regiment no. 11 in Dusseldorf and became reserve officer. At the outbreak of war in 1914 he joined as volunteer and since he was no longer fit for active service, received a aquadron inMunster as captain in the Landwehr cavalry.
