- South African Genealogies by the Genealogical Institute of South Africa(GISA) list one more child of Johannes Pythius; Cornelia. She marriedGerhard van Baarsenbergh from Eiteren. No date is given. However sheremarried Jan de Heere from Middelburg on April 6, 1721. Thus, datewise, Cornelia should be the daughter of his first or Second wife. Mostlikely the dauhgter of the first wife, Cornelia Bothma, whom he marriedon March 10, 1697 and was probably named after her mother, rather thanthe daughter of the second wife, Anna Louw, whom he married on August 12,1698 and who died at Cape Town in March 1699.
