  Description: MOOC 6/1/2-11 (Vermoedelik Kweekvallei) He and his two brothers, Matthys (b6) and Johannes Jurgen (b9) acquired "leenplase" (literally borrowed farms) against the Swartberg (Black Mountain). On his farm "Queekvallei" the current town of Prins Albert was later established. Burger Stellenbosch MOOC 6/1/2-11. Zacharias het tot 1756 in Stellenbosch distrik gebly, en al sy kinders is daar gedoop. Daarna is hy na die binneland (Roggeveld en later Kweekvallei, waar die dorp Prins Albert vandag is). Ons weet ook dat sy seun, Samuel, 'n deeglike skoolopleiding in Drakenstein (Paarl) gehad het en ons kan dus aanneem dat sy ander kinders moontlik ook skoolopleiding gehad het. Op 12 Februarie 1762 bekom Zacharias die reg om "voor den tyd van een geheel jaar met zijn vee te mogen leggen en weyden op die plaats agter de Swarte berg ... De Queekvalley." Op hierdie plaas, wat ook later deur sy seun, Samuel, gehuur is en toe besit is, is die dorp Prins Albert later aangelê. (SA Argief, Kaapstad). In 1778 besoek Robert Gordon in geselskap van Baron van Plettenberg De Queekvallei. Hy teken die bekende skildery van Kweekvallei, waarvan die oorspronklike kunswerk vandag nog in die Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is. (Navorsing: Hertha Bokelmann).
