- Arrived 1713 per Nesserak as midshipman per "Nesserak" under the name Isaac Dalgue. At Stellenbosch he was messenger of the court and became burger in 1724. From 1727 messenger of the Orphan Chamber
Van Grube in Solstein, aankoms 1713, adelborst (midshipman) op die skip "Nesserak, (hy noem hom dan Isaac Dalgue), 1715 bode van Stellenbosch en Drakenstein, burger 1724, 1727 bode van die Weeskamer.
Ball Website: Although known as Isaq d'Algue, it appears that his real name was Johannes Augustus Dreyer. The following note is posted into the Cape Death Notifications (Cape Archives) on page 10 where his death is recorded:
Vide wills of the Orphan Chamber vol 11 no 29 of 1795 Will of Isak Dalque (died 6.4.1759) and Sara van Wijk whereinb he states his proper name was Johannes Augustus Dreyer (CGB). [3, 11]
