  Pieter arrived in the Cape from Neustadt in Holstein, West Germany during 1693. He was a seargeant in 1693. He was later a farmer and owned the farm "Rustenburg" which was previously the property of his wife's first husband, Rudolph Pasman. From 1703 to 1705 he was the Acting Magistrate of Stellenbosch.
