Onderwyser by Frederik Potgieter CJ 2902.20 Contract drawn up on the 28th day of March 1767 between Johannes Stephanus Maritz as representative of the Landbouwer LAURENS ERASMUS and the Soldier Fredrik Zeevens of Groningen * the latter to work for Erasmus for the period of one whole year as Knegt or in any other suitable capacity. He would receive the monthly sum of 12 gulders Indische , free tobacco, "washen and lappen"- over and above food, drink and good accommodation. On 13 January 1769 Pieter Smellenting (?) as representative of the Landbouwer Laurens Erasmus, cancelled the contract. Arrived March 1774, teacher with Frederik Potgieter [2]
