2 GREEFF-Harriet Snider Greeff, 97, died at her home in Montecito Friday, January 2, 2004, after a brief illness.Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1906, the daughter of Harrison M. Snider and Mathilde Avery Snider, she moved to Pasadena with her parents in 1915. She graduated from Westridge School in Pasadena in 1923 and from Mount Vernon Seminary, Washington, D.C. in 1925.In 1935 she married Bernard de la G. Greeff of New York, who preceded her in death in 1992. They had one daughter, Harriet ("Holly") Burnham Greeff, now Mrs. John H. Robins on, Jr. of Pasadena. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Katherine Robinson Perkins of San Francisco, and Sarah Elizabeth Robinson of New York, and a great granddaughter, Eleanor Grace Perkins of San Francisco.After her husband finished a distinguished WW II career in the Navy they moved to Northern California and became cattle ranchers. In 1961 they moved to Easton, Maryland where they lived for nine years before moving to Montecito.Burial services will be private. Donations may be made in her name to The Visiting Nurses Association or Hillsides Home for Children in Pasadena.
