    Jean le ROUX van Blois, gebore 1667, was die broer van Gabriel, en het as Franse Hugenoot op 13 April 1688 met die Voorschooten aangekom in Saldanhabaai. Hy verkry die plaas Parys langs die Bergrivier in Paarl in 1692.

    Hy het verdrink saam met sy broer Gabriel in die Berg- of Wildeperdsrivier omstreeks 1711. Jean was getroud 1703 met Jeanne MOUY sedert 1703 en het 3 seuns en 'n dogter gehad.

    Jeanne Mouy en haar suster Marie (Sy het getrou met Francois Retief) het met hulle vader Pierre Mouy by die Kaap aangekom in 1699 op die skip Donkervliet. Pierre Mouy het geboer op De Krakeelhoek, Wamakersvallei.

    Jean het heelwat skuld gehad: aan Pieter Rossouw f100, Pieter van der Byl f300, Jan Sichere F300, Pieter Moeij (sic) f400. Die twee le Roux weduwees het elk'n seun laat doop op 8 Nov 1711. Beide moes ondersteuning kry van die diakonie. Nadat haar man verdrink het trou Jeanne weer met Philippe Mesnard (Minnaar) op 7 Mei 1712.

    a1b2 Pierre =12.12.1706. Hy slyt sy eerste lewensjare op Parys, die plaas van sy vader. Op 5 jaar vaderloos weens die verdrinkingstreurspel van sy vader en oom. Sy moeder trou weer in 1712 met Phillip Minnaar wat voortboer op Parys en later ook Salomonsvlei. Pierre staan sy stiefvader by veral op Salomonsvlei . In 1737 tree hy in die huwelik met Magdalena Cellier van de plaas de Orleans in Drakenstein en hulle het 11 kinders. As troupresentkry hy van sy skoonmoeder Elizabeth Couvert , die plaas La Motte, Franschhoek. Op die wingerdplaas La Motte boer Pierre ook met beeste en skape. Hy besit 3 slawe. Hy sterf in 1771 op 54 jarige ouderdom en laat sy vrou en 8 oorlewende kindersagter. Nog 2 kinders sterf kort na hul vader. Boedelinventaris spreek van 'n karige gesinsbestaan ens ens

    a1b3 Jan =19.4.1709 te Drakenstein. Ouers aangegee as Jan Roux(sic) en Jannetjie Moij (sic) ; X 1745 met 33 jarige weduwee Geertruy du Plessis(gebore van Deventer). Hy word stiefvader van 4 du Plessis-kinders wat wissel van 4 tot 13 jaar. Voor sy huwelik is hy blykbaar 'n veeboer op leenplase. In 1735 geregistreerde huurder van weiregte geleë te Modderfontein aan die grote Visrivierberg en later by Wemmershoek. Hy onderneem verskeie veldtogte na die binneland. Hy en Geertruy het 'n dogter gedoop in 1748 en ook 'n seun gedoop 26.7.1750. Teen 1750 is hulle gevestig iewers in Stellenbosch distrik en in 1752 toon die opgaafrol 20 beeste en 100 skape aan.. Sy eie dogter sowel as sy stiefdogter is later met Bredasdorpers getroud wat die vermoede laat dat Jan in sy latere lewe in daardie geweste as veeboer gevestig was.

    Louw,Jan le Roux was 'n verstokte oujongkerel van amper 40 toe hy op 14 Julie 1748 met Geertruida van Deventer getroud en hul oudste dogter Johanna is sewe dae later op Sondag 21 Julie 1748 gedoop. Dit bewys nog iets behalwe dat Sondag ook troudag was.!
