Hendrik Adriaan Greeff, *29 January 1828.

Monument on the grave of H A Greeff and his wife Suzanna Maria Redelinghuys at Manana near Lichtenburg, North West Province, where he was re-buried in 1944.

He was originally buried on the farm Rooipoort, near Volksrust where he passed away in 1884.

The monument at Manana was designed, built and erected by his grandson, Pieter F S Greeff. He submitted a number of designs to his father, Col G J (Jan) Greeff who selected the one in the picture.
