The family tree has a number of Gerhardus's and a number of Thomas's, but I cannot find the combination anywhere. My father is a Thomas Gerhardus as is his father before him. Nobody thought of tracing it back further. Unfortunately my grandfather died about ten years ago and left no useful information or anecdotes. As I am the last of the line (I have 3 sisters, no brothers and no sons), I would like to leave my daughters with at least some historical legacy. Do you think it will be possible to trace this combination? Let me know.
